{"id":318,"date":"2021-06-29T14:09:49","date_gmt":"2021-06-29T12:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bireg-info.hu\/?p=318"},"modified":"2021-06-29T14:09:49","modified_gmt":"2021-06-29T12:09:49","slug":"about-bireg-in-brief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bireg-info.hu\/en\/about-bireg-in-brief\/","title":{"rendered":"About BIREG in brief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 2021, Hungary will start using an electronic license registration system, which will allow for an electronic pre-screening and will support the work of the live inspection capacity by raising awareness of potential infringements. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The legislation was published by the Hungatian Government on 31 December 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the regulations, trucks with a gross vehicle weight of more than 3.5 tonnes carrying out international road transport for hire or reward on the territory of Hungary, and trucks with a gross vehicle weight of more than 7.5 tonnes carrying out international road transport for own account are subject to registration. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, transport by lorry carrying out cabotage operations on the territory of Hungary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration in the BIREG system concerns all road passenger and goods transport undertakings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the legislation also requires loading and unloading points to check the confirmation generated in the BIREG system &#8211; and from July 2021 also the active use of the electronic system &#8211; multiple or irregular use of permits will be completely excluded in the Hungarian transport market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, from 1 February 2021, failure to register will be punishable by a fine of HUF 800,000, and the loading and unloading site may be fined HUF 300,000 if it fails to comply with its obligation to check permits.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]From 2021, Hungary will start using an electronic license registration system, which will allow for an electronic pre-screening and will support the work of the live inspection capacity by raising awareness of potential infringements.
